What do I put for server in the client?

Hello. I’m totally new here and I was wondering what I need to put in the server bar? Thank you for any help I can get on this :slight_smile:

In the “Server” bar of the Seafile client, you should enter the URL of your Seafile server.

This is the same web address you use to access Seafile through your internet browser (for example, https://seafile.example.com or https://cloud.your-domain.com).

Key tips for entering the server address:

  • Include the protocol: Make sure to include http:// or https:// at the beginning.
  • Port number: If your server uses a non-standard port (not 80 or 443), you may need to include it at the end (e.g., http://192.168.1.100:8000).
