Changing Seafile's color - with Seamate

Hey x0n,

I can’t exactly recreate the problem from you. Did you choose exactly the right Seafile version at Seamate? What you can try is to use your browser’s developer tools to find out where the orange tone comes from.

很好 !谢谢,非常感谢。

Hey D_FR,

I might have chosen the wrong version. Tried it again and it is now working. Thanks for your help!

Hey there,
since today Seamate is also available for Seafile versions 7.0.5CE and 7.0.10PE.

Fantastic, helped me a lot, thanks!:grinning::grinning:

I only use the Seafile Client on my Desktop and Notebook so sync my files. I used the Webinterface only for the initial setup and some user adds / deletes.

Do people entirely work in the web-interface? Is there any cool feature I’m missing not working the webinterface?

Hi Michael,
I think the webinterface provides some cool feats that are worth considering:

  • file tagging
  • wiki editor
  • more flexible sharing link permissions
  • more flexible sharing permissions for internal users
  • collaborative file editing (requires integration of an online editor)

Hi @christophdb,
thanks for the tool, working great for 7.0.5 CE

Would it be possible for you guys to add some checkboxes to exclude eg. the library names/text in general? Right now it just seems like a bit too much color.

Hey everybody,
we updated seamate to support the new Seafile Professional 7.0.13.
Go and check it out: https://www.datamate.org/seafile/seamate/

@92lleo: we tried to made seamate as easy as possible. Therefore we will not start to add little extra configurations. Because If start, where will we stop? I hope you get the idea.
But may I invite you to try adapt the css to your need? The css file is not that big and it should be quiet easy to achieve what you want to have.

Christoph

Hi Christoph,

I totally understand, just wanted to ask :slight_smile:

btw, in /sys/useradmin/ (and all other admin views except “info”) the top nav bar coloring is not readable.

Thanks for your work!

Sweet tool - it’s appreciated. But is it just me or does it change the font (of library names, folder names etc) to bold? Any way this can be avoided? Thanks

Hey mydoom,
the intention of seamate is to change the color only. Therefore we change the css entries that contain an orange color code and replace the code with the desired color. We don’t change the fonts. But I will check what you describe.
Best regards
Christoph

Found some more in 7.1.3 CE:
Systemadministration -> Gruppen. Click on a group. Now “Gruppen” is still orange.

Corresponding selector is

.cur-view-path .sf-heading a {
    color: #eb8205;
}

I see the same issue with Users as well.

CE 7.1.3, Ubuntu 18.04.

Thank you.

It’s the same selector. :smiley:
