Migrate Seafile 7.0.5 to Docker with newest version

Hello all,

I will upgrade my Seafile environment from version 7.0.5 to the latest version this year. To simplify updating in the future I will move my Seafile to Docker.

Here the following question arises for me:

I can delete the folder seafile-latest and “simply” replace it with Docker or?

Can I upgrade from 7.0.5 directly with Docker to the latest version or do you recommend intermediate steps?

You’ll have to do some intermediate steps, the manual states you should be at least on 8.0.x to migrate to docker. This could help you:
