Windows Client 8.0.5 Install failed

Hi,

The Windows Client failed to Install:

There ist a Problem with this Windows Installer package. A DLL required for this Install could not bei Run. Contact your Support personall or package vendor.

7.0.9 was installed on this PC before without Problems. Has anyone a glue what could cause this Problem?

It sounds like you’re using something other than Windows 10. They have quietly removed the support for all other operating systems.

Even the still supported Windows 8.1/Server 2012 R2.

Install Seafile Client 8.0.1 missing DLL

Hi There, i’m trying to install Seafile Client 8.0.1 on Windows Server 2012 R2 and get a DLL Missing error. [image] On Windows 10 there is no Problem. Is there something i need? bye Andre

thanks for hour hint. But unfortunally i installed this Client on Windows 10. So this should not the problem

Has anyone else some ideas?

They have quietly removed the support for all other operating systems.

According to Jonathan Xu in the other post, they have not removed support for any OS.
